Artist Statement -

Colour street photography series made on Saturday 8 March 2020 at the Newtown Festival, just under two weeks before the first Covid19 lockdown.

'Whilst making these images I briefly felt joyfully connected by ‘being there’ with my photographic subjects; attending to and sharing the sensory celebration of these local street festivities.’
