Artist - Te Hopai

We are optimistic that 2025 will be a year filled with goodwill – (Nigel Latta says optimism is a super power!)

To kick off another great Rice Pudding year we are excited to present Our People: A Celebration of Creativity and Connection at Te Hopai.

Our People is more than an art exhibition - it’s a celebration of togetherness; residents, families, staff and volunteers have worked alongside each other and achieved something meaningful. The artworks on show were created by residents during their weekly Monday art session and they are all for sale.

The lovely staff at Te Hopai wanted us to share this message with you - “We warmly invite the wider community to engage with us, connect with our residents, hear their stories, and discover the people behind the art. Our People is an inspiring testament to the power of art and community. We look forward to seeing you there!”

Established in 1888, the Te Hopai Trust Group is dedicated to the care of the elderly. And we are lucky to have these talented artists (and lovely people) in our neighbourhood.
The artists have been working tirelessly for this show.
