Artist - Clair Jaycock
Dusty Days delves into a little known rural community subculture and past-time. American inspired but distinctly Kiwi in nature, New Zealand cowboy and rodeo life includes Bull and Bronc Riders, Barrel Racers and bona-fide Cowboys and Cowgirls - a community and unique visual identity created around agricultural backgrounds, farming traditions, a love of the animals and classic Kiwi values.
This body of work was created in collaboration with Fujifilm NZ and the New Zealand Rodeo and Cowboy Association, with both organisations helping to build relationships and trust with community members - an essential part of gaining the access to make meaningful images.
Dusty Days is open until Sunday 21 June.
